Conservation

 
Hall Place, Bexley, Kent

 

GAH have been engaged by Bexley Council and English Heritage to undertake remedial works to The Bell Tower at Hall Place, Bexley. This structure is classified as a Listed Monument. GAH were shortlisted by this client because of our experience of working on buildings with particular conservation status. Works are due to complete during April 2015. This contract will be followed immediately by a separate contract for the same client to strengthen floor joists and then reinstate the original salvaged floor boards to the Austin Gallery, again within Hall Place.

 

Ashford, Kent

 

GAH have been appointed by Aviva Insurance to undertake structural repairs and sympathetic remedial works to the building fabric of the Grade 2 Listed Gate House set within a graveyard in Ashford, Kent.

 

The works include repairs to stone features, roof tiled elevations, and leaded glass panes, under the control of the local Conservation Officer and project surveyor.
